Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Visited the Altiplano for the first time in 1980, since then undertaking various
exploration and photography trips throughout the region.
In September of 2007
moved to Cafayate, province of Salta, Argentina.
In 2010 opened the
Casa de Peter in Cafayate.
Extensive adventure and photography travel throughout the Americas,
having been to:
- Argentina (Tierra del Fuego/Ushuaia, Patagonia, Mendoza, Buenos Aires, the northwestern Altiplano)
- Bolivia (La Paz, Lake Titicaca, the southwestern Altiplano)
- Canada (Quebec/Montreal, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon)
- Chile (Torres Del Paine, Atacama Desert and the northern Altiplano)
- Equador (Quito, Galapagos Islands)
- Peru (Lima, Cuzco, Inca Trail and Macchu Picchu, Cordillera Blanca/Huaraz, Lake Titicaca)
- United States (Vermont, New York, California, Oregon, Florida, Alaska/Denali)
- Venezuela (Caracas, the Gran Sabana, Orinoco River Delta)
- and, last but not least, Brazil.
